PrintReady QR privacy policy

What we collect

Nothing. PrintReady QR does not collect, store or send any personal information, document content or the links you turn into QR codes.

How the add-in works

QR codes are generated inside the add-in on your device and inserted into your document by Word. The links you type are not sent to EONE or any other service. We use no analytics, tracking or advertising.

Google Docs add-on

In Google Docs, PrintReady QR asks Google for two permissions: to view and change only the document you have open, and to show its panel in Docs. It uses them to read the link you select and to insert the QR code picture. It does not read other files, does not keep any document content, and sends nothing to EONE or anyone else. Its use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

QR maker on this website

The QR maker makes codes in your browser. What you type is not uploaded.

Stored on your device

The add-in remembers your last size, colours and options in your browser storage on your device so you do not set them each time. You can clear this by clearing Office add-in data or your browser data.

Third parties

In Word, the add-in loads Microsoft's Office JavaScript library from Microsoft's servers, as all Office add-ins do, and Microsoft's privacy statement applies to that connection. In Google Docs, Google runs the add-on and Google's privacy policy applies. The add-in pages are served from our web host, which keeps standard server logs such as IP address and time of request.
