I design the thing, then build the system that runs it.

Reception fielded the same questions all day, hours, enrolment, location, repeat scripts. The website answered none of them, the load stayed on staff.

Radio Samoa and Samoa Times sit under one company, Samoa Multimedia Group. When Samoa Times closed during COVID, the news needed a new home, and the job fell to Radio Samoa's website, a station profile with no way to run several writers or carry photo-heavy stories.

Rebuilt as a news platform, with multi-author publishing, a photo-heavy layout, and a CDN so image-heavy pages load fast. Sales and marketing kept the ad side running, campaign design and Facebook workflows carried the reach the paper used to hold.

Radio Samoa runs as the news source for the group. Writers publish on their own, photo-heavy pages load fast, brand and campaigns stayed consistent through the shift.

Sheraton released ownership of the resort to local ownership, and the name changed with it. The website stayed with Sheraton, so the new site had to be rebuilt from the outside, matching the booking guests already used, with none of the original access or backend to build from.

A new site matching the original booking system, plus a full brand identity under the new name, logo, colours, and marketing material. Email moved onto its own domain, day to day communication now independent of any previous platform.

Bookings kept flowing through the handover. The resort now runs under its own name, web, brand, and email held under one local identity, independent of Sheraton.

Ikikoue sells jajanan pasar, traditional Indonesian cakes, to homes, offices, and events across Jabodetabek, with orders taken on WhatsApp. The old WordPress site had no working analytics, its only tracking ran on Universal Analytics, which stopped collecting in 2023. Missing pages returned server errors instead of a clean not-found page.

Rebuilt as a static site, with the full catalogue, product detail popups, a downloadable price list, and a WhatsApp order button in the header. Photos converted to WebP and lazy loaded, so a phone's first load is about 1.2 MB. Every old WordPress link redirects to the matching section. GA4, Meta Pixel, and Search Console set up at launch, the Instagram feed refreshes on its own, and the contact form delivers to the owners' inbox after the domain's email records were fixed.

Live on ikikoue.com since October 2026. Customers browse and order from their phone, old links and search listings still land in the right place, and the owners see visits and ad results from the first day.
