Get it

PrintReady QR is on its way to Microsoft Marketplace, where it will install in one click. Until then, pick the Word you use. It needs Microsoft 365 or Office 2021 or newer. Fixes reach you on their own, with no reinstall.

Word for Mac

  1. Open Word once and quit it.
  2. Download the Mac installer and open the zip.
  3. Right-click Install PrintReady QR and choose Open, then Open again. If macOS asks to let Terminal control Finder, click OK.
  4. In Word, open a document, select Home > Add-ins and pick PrintReady QR.

Word on the web

  1. Download the add-in file.
  2. In Word on the web, open a document and select Home > Add-ins > More add-ins > My add-ins > Upload My Add-in.
  3. Choose the file you downloaded. QR code appears on the Home tab.

For a whole business (IT admin)

Install it once for everyone, on Windows, Mac and the web. In the Microsoft 365 admin center, select Settings > Integrated apps > Upload custom apps, choose Office Add-in, and upload the add-in file. It shows up in Word for the people you pick, usually within a few hours.

Word for Windows

Word for Windows has no simple way to add it by hand. Use Word on the web for now, ask your IT admin to install it as above, or wait for the Marketplace listing.
